CFSI is pleased to announce that Mr. Peter Perfecto has become a Member of the Board of Trustees. He will participate in his first meeting of the governing body of CFSI on 21 November 2013 in Metro Manila, Philippines.

Mr. Peter Perfecto was elected to the CFSI Board of Trustees in October 2013. Since January 2011, he has served as the Executive Director of the Makati Business Club, which includes the top business corporations in the country. From 2006 through 2010, Mr. Perfecto served as the Executive Director of Philippine Business for Education, established by the business community to advocate for education sector reforms. During that same time frame, he was connected with the PHINMA Group, as executive assistant to the PHINMA President and Vice-President of the PHINMA Foundation. In addition, Mr. Perfecto has served in public service roles at the national level, including: Director III, Media Affairs, Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (2005-2006); and Executive Director of Amnesty International (Philippine Section) from 1987 to 1998. Mr. Perfecto was also Secretary-General of the youth alliance Lakas ng Kabataang Pilipino from 1987 to 1989. He earned the Bachelor of Science degree in Management Engineering in 1987 from the Ateneo de Manila University.
