Community and Family Services International (CFSI), in collaboration with the Ministry of Basic and Higher Education Technical Education of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (MBHTE-BARMM) held the 1st Alternative Delivery Model (ADM) Local Committee Meeting for the Accessible and Contextually Appropriate Project, also known as Basic Education Project Phase II (BEP/2). This was held 30 August 2019 at the MBHTE Division II Office in Barangay Datu Saber, Marawi City.
Presided by Dr. Salihah M. Lamping Assistant Division Superintendent, the meeting was attended by Teachers (Learning Facilitators), Parent and Teachers Association Officials, School Division Administrator, ADM Division Focal Person, Representatives from MBHTE Regional Office, and officials from Piagapo Local Government Unit.
The quarterly meeting is part of the major activities of the project, which aims to discuss and resolve arising issues and bottlenecks. The gathering also seeks to document learning and best practices that can be outlined in the upcoming scheduled activities.
The meeting concluded with the positive statement from the Municipal Councilors from the Local Government Unit of Piagapo expressing their gratitude and commitment to continuously support the project since the children beneficiaries of the project are part of their constituents.
Said efforts of the BEP/2 are made possible through the Education Pathways to Peace Program.
