On 7 March 2019, CFSI conducted the Refugee Forum where partners from UNHCR and the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) discussed the possibilities for refugees to practice their profession in the Philippines.
With the support of the UNHCR, CFSI, through the Urban Refugee Project (URP), supports the DOJ-RSPPU and provides free services and assistance to refugees and asylum-seekers in the Philippines. The URP is a long-standing partnership between CFSI and UNHCR for over two decades, bringing service and support for refugees and asylum seekers. The URP operates in CFSI Sub-Office in Pasay City.
