The stories we tell about people are equally as important as our work we do for the people.
To further the skills development of its field staff, CFSI SOI conducted the Writing and Mobile Photography Workshop for Staff Members on 13-14 June 2019 at the Marawi City Hall Islamic Conference Room and Bucana Beach Resort, Iligan City.
In the said workshop, field assistants and community organizers were trained in basic writing, technical writing, creative writing, and basic mobile photography and videography.
The objective of the workshop was to strengthen the skills of Staff Members in relaying salient information through written outputs such as official reports, narratives, testimonies, and even feature stories.
The staff were also trained to capture photos and videos using their smartphones. Mobile photography and videography have been gaining popularity for being cost-effective, convenient, and comfortable, as well as because of the many applications that may aid a user in producing better outputs.
