To help highly vulnerable families cope up with COVID-19 crisis, CFSI distributed food packs to 100 families of persons with special needs in Pasay City, Metro Manila, on 18 April 2020. The food packs included canned food items and various vegetables from Benguet Province.
CFSI Park Avenue Initiative’s (PAI) staff and community volunteers, who likewise received face masks and alcohol-based sanitizers, helped in the distribution in six Barangays in Pasay City. PAI aims to address the impact of poverty through promoting and testing community-based initiatives in child protection, youth development, and opportunity-creation.
