Pasay City – On 21 April, various health workers received food packs from Community and Family Services International (CFSI) as aid for their daily needs amid the COVID-19 crisis.

The health workers are the frontliners treating COVID-19 patients in Pasay City Social Hygiene Clinic, Lagrosa Health Center, Pasay City General Hospital, and the temporary care facility for COVID-19 patients in Pasay City Astrodome.

The food pack includes nuts, biscuits, crackers, and various snacks provided by the McKinsey and Company, one of CFSI’s corporate partners.

According to Dr. Joan Carlota Ranieses, the head of the city’s social hygiene clinic and the Lagrosa Health Center, the food pack is a big help for the frontliners as it is hard to buy food while they are on-duty.

CFSI has been a partner of Pasay City Health Office since 2002 for CFSI’s Park Avenue Initiative (PAI) implemented in the city. Part of PAI’s objectives is to provide Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health and HIV care services to the youth of Pasay.
