Youth beneficiaries of the Basic Literacy sessions, implemented by CFSI under the Indigenous Youth Livelihood Project (IYLP), show their newly acquired skill by expressing their gratitude in writing. The IYLP, funded by the Zapanta Realty and Development Corporation, provides training, coaching, and funds to establish livelihood projects to benefit the families of indigenous youth from the municipalities of Datu Odin Sinsuat and Datu Saudi Ampatuan, Maguindanao, Philippines.
Youth are also empowered through the provision of training on adolescent sexual and reproductive health, conflict resolution, leadership development, and disaster risk reduction.
