To ensure consultation and participation, Community and Family Services International (CFSI) and the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) convened all its stakeholders in the Bagumbayan Hall from 9:00 to 15:00 for the Marawi Recovery Project (MRP): Orientation and Workshop. The orientation was attended by Government agencies of Marawi, Lanao del Sur, and the Municipalities of Piagapo, Ditsan Ramain, and Marantao, together with other humanitarian actors involved in the Marawi Response such as the United Nations (UN) Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs. Presentations on the MRP were given by CFSI and the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation. The role of stakeholders and partner Government agencies were also discussed, along with workshops on Beneficiary Selection Criteria, Risk Management, and the Do No Harm Principle.

The Marawi Recovery Project is funded by the Australian DFAT, and implemented by CFSI in response to the humanitarian crisis brought about by the Marawi siege.
