Notice of Resumption for LCB2
This is with reference to the notice to contractors dated 17 March 2020 declaring the indefinite postponement of activities related to Local Competitive Bidding No. 2 (LCB2), including the issuance of Bid Documents, Conduct of Pre-Bid Conference, and other succeeding activities.
With the inclusion of BARMM, Lanao del Norte, and North Cotabato under low risk areas for COVID-19 and as a result of various consultations with the Ministry of Public Works (MPW) and Joint Normalization Committee Co-Chair, CFSI and BDA are announcing the resumption of LCB2 with the following schedules:
- Issuance of Bid Documents – 25 May 2020 to 2 June 2020
- Pre-Bid Conference – 28 May 2020
- Site Visit – 30 May 2020
- Bid Opening – 3 June 2020
We would like to inform you further that pertinent issuances from DPWH particularly Department Order No. 31 (Construction Safety Guidelines for the Implementation of All DPWH Infrastructure Projects during the COVID-19 Public Health Crisis) and World Bank safeguards considerations for project implementation during COVID-19 will be observed in the continuation of the procurement process and during construction period.
