As a complementary project of the Mindanao Trust Fund-Reconstruction and Development Project Phase II (MTF-RDP/2), CFSI and the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) entered into a grant agreement to implement the “Supporting Access to Basic Services and Building Institutional Capacity in Conflict-Affected Communities in Mindanao” also known as MTF-RDP/2-AECID.
The main objective of MTF-RDP/2-AECID is to improve access of targeted communites in the six previously acknowledged MILF camps to basic socio-economic infrastructures and to build institutional capacity. As a complimentary project of the MTF, the MTF-RDP/2-AECID builds on the experiences, local knowledge, and methodology developed by World Bank and CFSI.
