Now entering a new period of growth and development, CFSI seeks qualified applicants of diverse backgrounds with experience in development projects and preferably with working experience in conflict-affected areas in Mindanao, for the following posts, based at CFSI Operations Center in Cotabato City and Sub-Office in Iligan City.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Project Coordinator will lead the implementation of the project, including coordination and management of sub-
projects and programme activities and services. - S/he will ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with the highest professional
standards and completed in a timely manner. - Establish good working relationships, and enable collaborative efforts between partners
including, but not limited to donors, local government units and line agencies of government; the population of concern/beneficiaries, and
other key stakeholders. - The Project Coordinator will supervise the planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of the project, including the formulation of
project strategies and tactics, the development of measurable and realistic work and financial plans, and submission of periodic reports. - S/he will actively promote and participate in partner meetings/coordination activities and processes that will ensure timely project implementation.
- S/he will regularly monitor and evaluate project implementation inputs, outputs, and outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, Engineering, Public Administration, Education, or related field, preferably with a master’s degree in a relevant profession.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of progressively responsible, related experience, ideally in project management and working with a diverse group of people.
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
- S/he must have demonstrated an important level of analytical skills.
- Work experience in conflict-affected areas is an advantage and with strong skills in training facilitation.
- Strong interpersonal communication (oral and written) skills.
- An elevated level of leadership and analytical skills.
- A proactive and rigorous approach to problem-solving and professional responsibilities.
- Can work independently and as a team member in a cross-cultural, international setting; and prior working experience in foreign-funded projects and/ in conflict-affected areas is an advantage.

- The Finance and Administrative Assistant will generate monthly financial reports, including supporting schedules and other periodic reports (weekly cash position/ forecast and monthly bank reconciliation statements) of all assigned funds on a timely basis.
- S/he will ensure all receipts and disbursements are correctly accounted, and all support documentation and record entries are accurate and in order.
- S/he will process all cash and/check payments and prepare the corresponding vouchers for the project.
- S/he will monitor, ensure, and effect payment of regular monthly bills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
- At least two years of progressively responsible experience.
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
- Thorough understanding of non-profit accounting.
- Initiative-taking approach to problem-solving and responsibilities.
- Able to work in a high-stress, multi-cultural and multi-task environment.
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook. Proficient in appropriate accounting software, preferably NetSuite.
- Knowledgeable of the Philippine Labor Code and other statutory/government requirements.
- Knowledgeable of government-mandated benefits in the Philippines.
- Organized and efficient in a multi-task environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills in English.

- The Community Organizer will ensure social preparation and other project activities in his/her area of the assignment are conducted in a timely and effective manner.
- S/he will work closely with the project team and other stakeholders, including government partners and community leaders.
- S/he will employ participatory processes with project beneficiaries to assess needs, conduct response and recovery efforts, and contribute to local capacity strengthening in their respective areas in close coordination and collaboration with all key stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least a bachelor’s degree, and preferably a master’s, in Social Work, Community Development, Economics, Psychology, Nursing, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Ideally, a license in social work is preferred.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in community organizing/development including, preferably, work with diverse groups of people in areas devastated by armed conflict and/or disaster.
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
- Strong analytical and relationship-building skills.
- Good verbal and written proficiency in English is required, ideally complementing fluency in Tagalog, Tausog, and Sinama dialects.
- An initiative-taking and rigorous approach to problem-solving and professional responsibilities with a strong experience in training facilitation.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Proficient with personal computers and appropriate software.
- Willing to travel extensively in remote areas.
- Willing to work beyond the normal work hours, to deliver own work expectations.

- Working closely with the Community Organizer, the Community Mobilizer supports community-based activities, facilitate access to services, and ensures sustained community engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, Psychology, or a related field.
- A license in social work is preferred.
- At least three (3) years of experience in community organizing or working with grassroots organizations.
- Experience in child protection is an advantage.
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
- Strong facilitation, counselling, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups, including children, youth and community leaders.
- Proficiency in local languages is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
