On 26 July 2017, Community and Family Services International and the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade co-chaired the 7th Project Steering Committee Meeting for the Zamboanga Recovery Project (ZRP).
The meeting saw discussions and updates on the progress of the five components of the project: shelter, livelihood, psychosocial and protection, assistance to host communities, and health. It was attended by Catholic Relief Services, Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Zamboanga, Local, Regional, and National Government Agencies, and other partners.
ZRP aims to help the most vulnerable population affected by the Zamboanga siege.
