CFSI would like to thank a compassionate and hard-working group of women from the small rural town of Euroa in the Australian state of Victoria for donating an extensive range of handmade clothes and toys to children affected by last November’s Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) in the Philippines.

The women heard first-hand about the plight of young survivors from former CFSI intern Amanda Walters, who was stationed in the Philippines when the typhoon struck the Central Visayas region on November 8, affecting more than 13 million people, displacing more than 4 million, killing more than 6,000, and either damaging or destroying more than 1 million homes.
