Dr. Steven Muncy was named one of the awardees of the 2021 Ramon Magsaysay Award, Asia’s premier prize and highest honor. Please watch below the Presentation Ceremonies held on 30 November 2021.
Dr. Muncy, the founder and Executive Director of Community and Family Services International (CFSI), was awarded for his humanitarian and peace-building efforts in Southeast Asia. He is among the five awardees recognized this year for their selfless service to the people of Asia.
For more than six decades, the Ramon Magsaysay Award has been honoring the “greatness of spirit” of individuals and organizations selflessly serving towards human development in Asia. The awards are traditionally presented annually on 31 August, the birth anniversary of Philippine President Ramon Magsaysay whose ideals inspired the Award’s creation in 1957.
